Hamano has been practicing psychotherapy since 1988. He has been teaching Qigong since 1995.
A little more about Grandmaster Hu: In October 1959, Master Hu participated in the National Qi Gong Conference in Beidaihe. At the conference, he presented his own experience of practicing Qi Gong over decades in both dynamic and static Qi Gong. He particularly focused on the effect of so-called spontaneous Qi Gong in treatment and how he first applied Qi Gong clinically. Master Hu's performance and his work "Qi Gong" greatly influenced Qi Gong circles. Previously, there was no unified term for Qi Gong, and each school had its own. In the early 1950s, Master Hu Yao Zhen, together with Liu Gui Zhen and others, decided to standardize the term "Qi Gong" to promote its popularization. Soon after, Qi Gong was known to everyone. Therefore, Master Hu Yao Zhen is called the "father of modern Qi Gong" and the "miracle doctor".
