Seitai Shiatsu is based on an ancient oriental folk healing tradition and Anmo massage. There are mentions of it written on animal bones and turtle shells almost 4000 years ago.
Seitai Shiatsu is a Japanese holistic bodywork method to help the circulation and functioning of the life force in the body in different ways. In the Seitai Undo basic treatment, the whole body is treated with various movements and stretches, massaging, and pressing on influential points located in the energy channels. The purpose is to relax the body and mind while activating the circulation of internal power in the channels and the effects extend both on a purely physiological level and deep into the area of the mind, energy and spirit.
The course also includes exercises of the Chinese Qigong (chi kung) method to stabilize and raise your own energy level.
The study languages are english and estonian.

Since then, he lived in Japan for about 7 years, studying and working at Kato Sensei's seitai shiatsu clinic.
Shaolin Temple is a well known ancient Buddhist temple in Henan, China. The main pillars of Shaolin culture are Chan Buddhism; Zen in japanese, martial arts and traditional Chinese medicine. Kauko started learning meditation, versatile physical exercises and oriental healing methods of this school 1974.
Kauko started Qigong related training in mid seventies and met his most important Qigong teacher Tsumura Sensei in 1986, with whom he started studying further Daoist methods, philosophy and internal energy work and alchemy to cultivate the three treasures.
Kauko Uusoksa founded the Finnish Qigong association in 1988 and has continued to teach and study intensively. He has also been involved in organizing and creating Jianshen Qigong in China. Jiansheng Qigong, or Health Qigong, comprises old traditional exercises that have been rearranged into standardized forms. He was a member in the founding of the International Jian Shen Qigong Federation.
Currently, Kauko Uusoksa is actively studying and teaching traditional and modern Qigong from moving Daoyin forms to Neidan - Inner Elixir alchemy. He lives by the lake in the countryside 15km from nearest village without municipal electricity and water service. He says it ́s a perfect place to practice looking through the curtains.
